Description:: WIC is the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). It is a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service, and the New Mexico Department of Health, Public Health Division. The First Nations WIC program is a contractor of the State of New Mexico WIC program, providing families with the supplemental foods necessary for proper nutrition, Breastfeeding Education as well as Nutrition Education.
