Description:: The Women Infants & Children (WIC) Department’s mission is to promote healthy lifestyles by supplementing the lives of women, infants, and children through nutrition education, breastfeeding support, outreach and referrals. WIC is a supplemental program funded by the USDA and designed to help families with health and nutrition. Osage Nation WIC is income-based serving eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women as well as their infants and children up to age 5 who are found to be at nutritional risk and reside within the state of Oklahoma.
