- WIC is a nutrition program for pregnant and breastfeeding women, non-breastfeeding postpartum women up to 6 months, children up to 5 years of age, and infants. The WIC program provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, screening, and referral. WIC participants must meet certain financial requirements to qualify for the program.
