- WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children. It is a nutrition program that helps moms and their kids. We provide healthy foods as well as nutrition education to income eligible families. We also provide breastfeeding support. Who can apply for WIC?: Pregnant women; Moms who just had a baby (For one year if they are breastfeeding; For six months if they are not breastfeeding (this includes moms who miscarried or adopted their baby to someone else); Parents of kids under 5 years old (this includes dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc if they are the guardian of that child)
