- Description
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federally–funded supplemental food, nutrition education and breastfeeding support program. WIC helps families with women and/or children who are at nutritional risk by providing nutrition education along with monthly food coupons. WIC's goal is to prevent health problems and improve the health of participants during critical times of growth and development. WIC serves over 5,000 clients in the greater Pasadena area, including South Pasadena, Sierra Madre and Altadena.
