WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, healthy food, and other services free of charge to Washington families that qualify. WIC’s goal is to advocate good health for women that are pregnant, breastfeeding, new moms, and also to kids under age five. To do this our WIC staff provides patients with: Nutrition education & counseling, Breastfeeding information, Promotion of healthy habits, Subsidies for healthy foods, Health education, Parenting classes.
