  • WIC (Women, Infants, Children) is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a federal program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The WIC Program provides healthy supplemental foods for pregnant women, postpartum women, breastfeeding women, infants and children up until the age of 5 who meet the eligibility requirements for the program. Program services include nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion, breastfeeding education, breastfeeding support, referrals to human service organizations and referrals for healthcare.
