- Description
- WIC serves pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children (up to age 5) meeting income guidelines and medical or nutritional risk. WIC provides supplemental checks for nutritious food and nutrition counseling. WIC also provides breastfeeding education and breastfeeding assistance. All staff are Certified Breastfeeding Educators. Lactation consultations are available with a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor or an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. We offer a breastfeeding support group on Wednesday’s from 1:30 – 2:30. Prenatal breastfeeding and cooking classes are also available.
