- WIC is a nutrition program that provides nutrition information, supplemental foods, and referrals to health and social services for eligible pregnant and postpartum women, infants and children up to age five. To qualify for W.I.C., participants must meet income guidelines and be at risk related to nutrition and/or health. The W.I.C. program is sponsored by the USDA.
