  • Description
  • The WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program serves low income pregnant, breastfeeding, and post partum women; infants; and children up to age 5 who have a nutrition related health problem. Participants receive nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and supplemental foods to improve their diets. The WIC project employs a Nutritionist to administer the program and is currently serving over 2,300 women, infants, and children in Halifax County.
