Comment from Olga: I am a graduate student at Michigan State University's School of Social Work. I am currently working on a research project examining food insecurity issues among single-parent families in Michigan. I am reaching out to ask if you could share any data, reports, or other information related to food insecurity among single parents in Michigan. Specifically, the percentage of single moms and married moms receiving your help. If you conduct annual surveys, have data tables to share, or have released reports on this topic, they would be tremendously helpful for my project. This research aims to better understand the scope of hunger and food access issues facing single-parent households in our state in order to identify needed policy and program interventions. Insights from dedicated organizations like yours are essential for developing effective solutions. I greatly appreciate any data or direction you could offer my research.
