  • WIC, the Women, Infants, and Children Program, is a nutrition education and food supplement program that helps lower income pregnant women, new mothers, infants and young children eat well and stay healthy. Pregnancy and early childhood are important times for growth and development. With this in mind, the WIC Program has been designed to help its participants make choices that can have a positive and lasting difference in their family’s health. WIC's Mission: We will provide to all women,infants and children healthy food, and the knowledge and opportunity to make healthy choices in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, thus enhancing the potential for all Californians to enjoy a higher quality of life.
