- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is a federal program which provides nutrition evaluation, education, and food vouchers for healthy foods. The West Allis WIC program comes to the Wauwatosa Health Department once a month to provide services to eligible residents. Nursing consultation by a Wauwatosa Public Health Nurse is available onsite during the WIC appointment.
