  • WIC provides food vouchers, nutrition information, and referrals to other providers to help keep pregnant women, breast-feeding women, infants and children less than five years of age healthy and strong. WIC vouchers are used to purchase foods such as milk, fruit juice, cheese, peanut butter, tuna fish, carrots, cereal, dried or canned beans and peas, eggs, fruits and vegetables, whole grain bread or tortillas, brown rice and infant formula.
