It also helps reduces infant mortality by reducing the incidence of low birth weight babies. Comment from Sonya Knisley: Hello, I am reaching out to let you know the library has put together some kits for Clark County parents with newborns. The kit includes resources for obtaining a library card, getting free books monthly for their child up to age 5 from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, tips on interacting with their baby, bookmarks, a toy and a soft book. Would it be possible for the library to drop off some Reading Roots kit forms for you to have available for new parents? They would just need to fill out a short form at their convenience, then bring it to our Main Branch to pick up a free Reading Roots kit. Thank you for your consideration, Sonya Knisley Head of Children's Services Clark County Public Library 201 S. Fountain Ave. Springfield, OH 45506 937-328-6905
