WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides breastfeeding support, milk, eggs, whole grains (such as bread, rice, tortillas), beans, juices, cereals, peanut butter, baby foods and vouchers for fruit and vegetables at no cost to eligible participants. Cheese and canned fish are available to women who are fully breastfeeding. To receive WIC you must meet federal guidelines, earn a low or moderate income: Reside in Delaware, Morrow or Union County; Be pregnant or post-partum (up to 6 months); Be breastfeeding an infant (up 1-year-old); Have an infant or child under the age of 5; Have a nutritional or medical need (as determined by a WIC professional).
