One must live in Washington or Morgan County and be certified by a WIC staff member as needing supplemental food due to a health or nutritional risk. Current income standards must be met and individuals must return to WIC clinic for regular health checkups. Eligible participants receive coupons which are redeemed for cereal, juice, etc. at local grocers. Nutrition education is an important aspect of this program. To apply for the program, contact the WIC offices. There is no charge for WIC services.
