WIC is a nutrition education and food supplement program funded by the Department of Agriculture through a grant from the Kansas Department of Health & Environment. This program is available for pregnant, breastfeeding and recently delivered mothers, infants and children up to 5 years of age. Eligibility is according to income and participants must be a resident of Kansas. Income guidelines are available at the Health Department, call or stop by the office for more information. The WIC Program is open to eligible persons regardless of race, color, age, sex, national origin or handicapping conditions. There are no fees for this program.
